The creativity of the students has got no boundaries and their imaginations sail through far away from the realities. To give wings to their thought process, a creative writing competition for Classes 6 to 8 was conducted where interesting topics were given on the spot along with the freedom to write in either Hindi or English. They pen down their ideas which forefront and spoke about their emotional state, reactions and impacts.
This activity not only enhanced their writing skills, also persuaded them to think beyond boundary and effective expression of their ideas.
On this note, a creative writing competition was organised at GRD Academy, Niranjanpur on 12th November 2021. Students were asked to express their views in any language (Hindi/English), on any one of the following topics.
- Imagine you have won a lottery ticket and tomorrow you will receive your money. Pen down how would you like to use it?
- Write a letter to your future self.
- Imagine if you get some superpowers for one day, for what purpose will you use them?
The parameters for judgement were Creativity, Sequence of ideas, Narration, Spelling and grammar and Handwriting.
The student participated in the activity with lot of zeal and enthusiasm. It was an amazing writing experience where students brighten and enlighten their young brilliant minds.
