INTER HOUSE FOLK DANCE COMPETITION – GRD ACADEMY NIRANJANPUR DEHRADUN
Dance, being a part of man’s life from the primitive to the most cultured community, appears to have evolved even before he began to speak or paint.
India, the land of great cultural heritage with its vast variety of races and traditions has been a veritable treasure house of dance forms for untold centuries. It has given birth to varied forms of dances each shaped by the influences of a particular period and environment.
Inter House Folk Dance Competition (classes VI to VIII) held at GRD ACADEMY NIRANJANPUR
Was judged by Mrs. Rakhi Kala & Mrs. Nandini Arora (D.A.V Public School).
The Judges, Parents and spectators were invited to attend the event were full of appreciation of students and teachers effort.
Jujhar House came as the winner followed by Fateh House.
All in all it was a real treat to watch the competition.
